Samsung announces Galaxy Young and Galaxy Fame

Samsung has just announced two new Android based smartphones, Galaxy Young and Galaxy Fame targeting mainly entry level android lovers.

Both the smartphones are equipped with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) as well as 1GHz processor. As per earlier reports, these smartphones will be available with Dual SIM modes depending upon the category of the country.

Samsung hasn’t announced that when these phones will be available for the end customer but we have heard that it won’t take more than a month.

Galaxy Fame

Individually speaking, Samsung Galaxy Fame has 3.5 inches HVGA TFT display, 1GHz processor, 5 MP auto focus camera with LED flash, front VGA camera, 4GB storage, 512 MB of RAM with an option to extend memory card up to 64 GB and standard 1300 mAh battery.

On the other hand, specifications are almost similar to ‘Fame’ but Galaxy Young has a somewhat little display of 3.27 inches on a TFT screen. Again, it has 1GHz processor, 4GB internal storage which is extendible up to 64 GB, but, it is better in RAM which is 768 MB. ‘Young’ only has a 3MP rare camera with no LED flash light.
